INTRODUCTORY CLASSES FOR AMATEUR ADULTS

Among the activities of the center „Maison pour Tous Léo Lagrange“, the company proposes weekly classes for adult beginners or intermediate beginners taught by Patrice Usseglio, dancer of the Didier Théron Company. “Work further on notions of centering, weight, tension/release with specific exercises on the floor as well as upright. Develop the conscience of the body center to master and channel ones energy. Work on notions of endurance and resistance. Choreographic sequences will be proposed to work on phrases, on movement precision and interpretation.”

PATRICE USSEGLIO
Professional education of dramatic arts at the Academy of Grenoble, works with Georges Lavaudant in Richard III. Turns towards dance and joins the companies of Hervé Diasnas and Odile Duboc from 1986 - 1990 (technical formation and creative work). Works with different companies : Maïté Fossen, Zaza Disdier, Shiro Daïmon, Corine Lanselle, Sidonie Rochon, Odile Azagury. Works in Montpellier with the Didier Théron company since 2001. Holder of the State certificate of teaching contemporary dance and musical formation of the dancer (I.F.E.D.E.M.Paris).


INTRODUCTARY CLASSES TO CONTEMPORARY DANCE AND PERFORMING ARTS
FOR CHILDREN AGED 6-12 YEARS

During school vacation and in co-operation with the „Maison Pour Tous Léo Lagrange“, the Didier Théron Dance Company organizes an introductory workshop to contemporary dance, directed by Maya Brosch and Brigitte Gallissian. Beginning with a subject, the class playfully approaches contemporary dance with games, improvisation and experiments. At the end of the workshop, a show will be presented to the parents on Friday afternoon.
Hours : 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m, from Monday to Friday. Please prepare a picnic for lunch.
Fee : 75 € + 10 € membership fee for the association „Allons’z’enfants“.

BRIGITTE GALLISSIAN
Pedagogical and choreographic professional education in contemporary dance, classical dance, and further movement techniques. 20 years of experience with children and adults. Teacher of contemporary dance for diverse associations as well as with physically handicapped and blind people. Since 1990, she works for the company in schools. Created numerous choreographic pieces for children.

MAYA BROSCH
Swiss nationality. She learns classical dance with Yves Casati. Studies physical mime with Etienne Decroux and Daniel Stein, studies pantomime with Ella Jaroscewicz. Co-founder of the Mimobile Theater which is later named the „Theatre Corps-Acteur“. Co-founder of the company Michèle Murray, participates as an interpreter in contemporary performances and live art. Associated artist at the „Espace Bernard Glandier“ of Montpellier with the Didier Théron Dance Company.


CONTEMPORARY DANCE AND HIP-HOP DANCE WORKSHOP
FOR ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS AGED 13 – 18 YEARS

The Didier Théron Dance Company co-operates with the company „MCR Danse Compagnie“ to offer an original workshop mixing contemporary dance and HIP HOP, taught by Patrice Usseglio and Djamel Amzert during school vacation : to play with the different languages of two dance styles : dance material, rhythm, precision, to stimulate the imagination of each participant in order to achieve a personal and original dance style.
Hours : 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m OR 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m, from Monday to Friday (please check with us dates and times)
Fee : 50 € + 10 € membership fee to the association „Allons’z’enfants“.
