Gonflé (Inflated)

«Deformation is an act of invention, nature disturbed, a play on the way we see things. The image of the athletic body displayed daily is also perceived in the body of the dancer, and is here joyfully destroyed and transformed into something strange. Since time eternal, the court jester has been imagined in a different way, deformed in one way or the other. Here, we are seeing the actions of human beings.” Donald Becker

Hara-kiri

With economic events as they are in Europe today, Hara-kiri, this neurotic and political ritual for six dancers makes total sense, here and now. Created in anger, out of breath, in a hypnotic and cruel cadence, Hara-kiri will be presented on August 25th, 2010, in the heart of Europe, in Düsseldorf, for the Internationale Tanzmesse NRW, in the Central, Alte Paketpost: A real symbol!” Didier Théron

Je ni ariverai jamais (I will never make it) is a sensitive and comical piece about a school class: It is a piece for children and for parents. It is about you, it is about me, in this class which eternally repeats itself!” Didier Théron

The Three Graces

June 19 till July 6, 2010 / Montpellier

“Mouvements sur la ville 2” – Choreographic event

Dance artists in Montpellier open their doors and show dance from a different point of view, just as in former times when theater was performed in private homes. There is no better way to rediscover dance: Here, it is unique, sensitive, something to be shared rather than to be consumed.

The company presents “The Three Graces”.

The Three Graces are seven women, observed in the ambiguity of their physical beauty. Driven by an absolute liberty of fantasy, the movements of the high heeled dancers, dolls and mistresses alike, develop an ironic and light dialogue, expressing sensuality, power, humor and indolence in bodies which consent to manipulation. This innocent and perverted object appears, in its cold form, like a contemporary classic.” Didier Théron
